MÁLAGA. 14/01/2009.-The project, which has been awarded to the company Novasoft leads, among several actions, creating an online portal of care through the Internet. A neighbor may make arrangements related to online census, the land and geographic information of their properties within a period of two months.

The more than 115,000 inhabitants of Gibraltar does not have to move back to the City Council of the Andalucía town twelfth for basic procedures such as consultation of data in the municipal cadastral or their references. The council of the town of Cadiz is currently a macro eGovernment to allow residents of the municipality to access some of the most common services through the Internet and as safely as possible.

The initiative, which has a budget of more than 250,000 euros and has an implementation period of two months, is divided into four levels that will bring the local government and its services to citizens. In this way, projects to modernize the municipal census, so that is accessible to all residents who wish to manage their data over the Internet and at the same time complying with the regulations of the National Institute of Statistics. A second level of focus will be on the Public Service, creating the necessary network infrastructure and to develop procedures that affect the telematics Area Public Services. A third measure will give the City of Algeciras of two new websites for access to municipal information via the network. One of them, 'Watch Portal', will allow users to deal with external fluently between different areas of the council and to make easier the process above. The second of these, 'Employee Portal' function as an intranet that will modernize and streamline the efforts that officials made to serve neighbors in processing files, or an internal efforts, such as database management.

In the fourth level of work, more technical, there will be a consultation process to improve the relationship in all areas of the council with new tools and can structure their work around them to get the maximum possible performance.

The project also involves a training module for municipal employees and the communities affected by major changes, so that in the shortest possible time to familiarize themselves with these developments.

Los más de 115.000 habitantes de Algeciras no tendrán que volver a desplazarse al Ayuntamiento de la duodécima localidad andaluza para realizar trámites básicos como la consulta de sus datos en el Padrón municipal o sus referencias catastrales. El ayuntamiento de la localidad gaditana desarrolla actualmente un macroproyecto de Administración Electrónica que permitirá a los vecinos del municipio acceder a varios de los servicios más comunes a través de Internet y de la forma más segura posible.

La iniciativa, que cuenta con un presupuesto superior a los 250.000 euros y tiene un plazo de ejecución de dos meses, se estructura en cuatro niveles que redundarán en el acercamiento de la administración local y sus servicios al ciudadano. De esta forma, se acometerán proyectos para modernizar el Padrón municipal, de tal manera que sea accesible para todos los vecinos que deseen gestionar sus datos a través de Internet y a la vez cumpla con la normativa del Instituto Nacional de Estadística. Un segundo nivel de trabajo se centrará en el Servicio de Atención al Ciudadano, creando la infraestructura y la red necesaria para el desarrollo de trámites telemáticos que afectan al Área de Servicios al Ciudadano. Una tercera acción será dotar al Ayuntamiento de Algeciras de dos nuevos portales de acceso a la información municipal a través de la red. Uno de ellos, el ‘Portal Ciudadano’, permitirá a los usuarios externos manejarse con más soltura entre las distintas áreas del consistorio y llegar a realizar con más facilidad los trámites antes mencionados. El segundo de ellos, el ‘Portal del Empleado’ funcionará como una intranet que agilizará y modernizará las gestiones que los funcionarios realizan para atender a los vecinos en tramitación de expedientes, o en gestiones de carácter interno, como gestión de bases de datos.

En un cuarto nivel de trabajo, más técnico, se realizará una consultoría de procesos para mejorar la relación de todas las áreas del consistorio con las nuevas herramientas y que puedan estructurar su trabajo en torno a ellas para sacarle el máximo rendimiento posible.

El proyecto también conlleva un módulo de formación para empleados municipales y para los principales colectivos afectados por los cambios, a fin de que en el mínimo tiempo posible puedan familiarizarse con estos avances.

MÁLAGA. 14/01/2009.-On Monday, January 12 began the selection tests for the course with J2EE/J2SE Application Development, which brings to an end a 60% recruitment of students. The first of these courses was a labor of 100%.

The course will follow an active and practical methodology, which combines theoretical and practical examples that allow the application of knowledge acquired and its relevance to the characteristics of each participant. It lasts for three months, is completely free, being funded by the Government of Andalusia and the European Social Fund, and at the end, the company guarantees a 60% recruitment of students who have followed.

In the first of these courses, all students joined the staff of Novasoft in Spain, obtaining a permanent contract and embarking on the project of the company in the province, which plans to build a center I+D+i own a building of more than 2,500 square meters within the Science Park GeoLit Technology.





Algo más de medio centenar de aspirantes, lo que supone tres veces más las plazas ofertadas, optan a participar en el segundo ‘curso cantera’ con compromiso de contratación que ha puesto en marcha Novasoft y la Consejería de Empleo de la Junta de Andalucía en la provincia de Jaén, dentro del sector de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación. Ayer lunes comenzaron las pruebas de selección en las instalaciones que posee la compañía en el centro de empresas Big Bang, en el Parque Científico Tecnológico de Geolit. La mayoría de los aspirantes cuentan con un alto nivel de formación, destacando los licenciados en Ingeniería Informática y de Telecomunicaciones.

El objetivo fundamental de este nuevo curso, denominado Desarrollo de Aplicaciones con J2EE/J2SE, es formar personal para diseñar, construir y mantener aplicaciones Java corporativas orientadas a objetos en un entorno distribuido basado en los protocolos estándar de Internet, capaces de manejar volúmenes arbitrarios de información y empleando interfaces gráficas de usuario en el lado del cliente. El curso seguirá una metodología activa y práctica, donde se combina el contenido teórico con ejemplos y casos prácticos que permiten la aplicación de los conocimientos adquiridos y su adecuación a las características de cada participante. Su duración es de tres meses, es completamente gratuito, ya que está financiado por la Junta de Andalucía y el Fondo Social Europeo, y al finalizar, la compañía garantiza un compromiso de contratación del 60% del alumnado que lo haya seguido.

En el caso del primero de estos cursos, la totalidad de los alumnos entró a formar parte de la plantilla de Novasoft en Jaén, obteniendo un contrato indefinido y embarcándose en el proyecto de la compañía en la provincia, donde tiene previsto construir un centro de I+D+i en un edificio propio de más de 2.500 metros cuadrados dentro del propio Parque Científico Tecnológico Geolit.

MÁLAGA. 13/01/2009.- Hiring of new fixed, 50% are women and more than 30% are university graduates. The protocol includes provisions to promote education, equality and reconciling work and the prevention of occupational hazards.

Novasoft's president, Francisco Barrionuevo, and the provincial delegate of the Ministry of Employment of Andalusia, Juan Carlos Lomeña, have signed a protocol to promote and encourage employment in Málaga, within the sector of activity of Technology Information and Communication. This protocol serves as the framework agreement through which both organizations are committed to promoting and developing policies for job training, equal employment and reconciliation and the prevention of occupational hazards, among other issues.

As the first of these measures, Novasoft's going to recruit 80 people indefinitely in 2008, counting among themselves and develop their employees who work in the company through a contract with a fixed-term and new workers are added. Of these contracts, 50% are women and more than 30% are university graduates. This measure is part of the provisions of the Decree 149/2005, as amended by Decree 58/2007 of Andalusia, which govern incentives for hiring and through which the company has access to grants the Ministry of Employment, that the object of such a protocol could reach an amount of up to 240,000 euros.

Training for employment, the protocol provides that Novasoft participates in the development of training with and without commitment to hiring in the sector of communications and information technology. These actions would be targeted to persons employed and unemployed. Moreover, both parties agree to establish a company in the Equality Plan that includes measures to promote the reconciliation of work and family for both men and women. The result of these actions, the provincial delegation of the Ministry of Empelo organize meetings and workshops in the company to report on collective bargaining and equality plans in companies.

Both sides have also agreed on actions to combat workplace accidents and ensure the health of workers. In this way, the Center for Prevention of Occupational Hazards of Malaga organize training workshops and other activities in conjunction with the company based in the Technology Park of Andalusia.

Novasoft is currently the fourth largest workers installed in the PTA. Throughout 2008 has established itself as one of the companies in this environment it has created more jobs and will close the year with an increase of more than 28% staff and grazing 400 employees.

Novasoft sponsors V edition of the International Conference of Free Software, Open Source World Conference (OSWC)

MÁLAGA. 20/10/2008.- The Board of the Board of Andalusia and Extremadura, with the support of Novasoft Enterprise Corporation Ltd. and other leading products and services, organized the fifth edition of the International Conference of Free Software, Open Source World Conference (OSWC) to be held at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Malaga, on days 20, 21 and 22 October and which will go over 200 experts worldwide.

The inauguration of the International Conference of Free Software 08 with the participation of one of the main drivers of the global Free Software and Open Source3 (open source), the ideologue of the so-called Web 2.0, Tim O'Reilly.

During the Conference, the European Union (EU) will present the Repository Center and Free Software (Open Source Observatory and Repository, OSOR), an active platform to share e-government applications based on Free Software. It will be shared practical experiences with this system developed in Europe. For its part, the Agency for Promoting Foreign Andaluza (Extenda) encourage the establishment of international contacts between companies of Andalusia and Latin American Free Software.

Since Novasoft, Emilio Lopez, conducted on Tuesday 21 between 12:00 h. and 14:00 h. a thematic session on services for businesses based on free software, namely "Business Solutions in virtual environments and practical demonstration of the technology used at International Fairs in Andalusia (FIVA).

This event is free, but must pre-register because the capacity is large but limited and is directed to the general public, who may participate in the activities planned for PC users, professionals and amateurs.

MÁLAGA. 10/10/2008.- The Minister for Innovation, Science and Enterprise of Andalusia, Francisco Vallejo, who has visited the facilities Novasoft in Science and Technology Park GeoLit building during the inauguration of the Big Bang, in that technopolis, last ten days of October. With a budget of more than 18 million euro, the project will meet the technological needs of more than a thousand health care centres in the region. All the IT facilities will be renewed in four years, and the whole regional health care system will have a network of electronic media functioning at all times.

MÁLAGA. 25/07/2008.- The temporary joint venture formed by Novasoft and Telvent awarded an ambitious tender for the Public Health Service of Castilla La Mancha (Sescam) regarding the design, renewal and modernization of the IT facilities and infrastructure of all the regional health care centres. The project, that will have a duration of four years, will cost slightly more than 18.1 million euro and will create fifty new jobs.

The Project, that has been called ‘Ábrego’, has two important aspects. On the one hand, the renewal and increase of the regional health care centres’ IT facilities. These centres will benefit from the most modern management tools (state of the art Networks, PCs, touch screens, digital signage …), so the whole regional health care network will move ahead with the Information Society in equal conditions. In total, 883 health care points in the five Manchegan provinces (190 health care centres and 693 local clinics) will be updated, thus covering the population with access to primary health care facilities.

On the other hand, along with the equipment and the supply of material and Networks, the health care centres will be equipped with infrastructure support of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). Such support will be serviced under the ITIL methodology (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and will handle incidents at three levels: through 24x7 telephone support, through software technical control and through hardware technical control. This support includes the creation of a Customer Help Desk, which headquarters will be in Toledo and that will handle all the incidents, and the creation of 49 jobs related to the functions exposed above.

MADRID 19/06/2008.- The CEO of Novasoft, Francisco J. Barrionuevo Canto, has received today an award from his Royal Highness Prince Felipe of Spain with regard to Business Excellence. On this note, Novasoft is now the first Andalusian company to obtain this award in the category of Industrial Quality and to enters the ‘Olympus’ of Spanish companies that have been recognized with this important prize, fruit of a exhaustive audit undertook by outsourced experts and valued by an independent jury. This award can be obtained by companies with a majority of private capital, that operate in Spain, and that are looking to achieve or have achieved high quality standards in its performance that results in management excellence and a competitive edge. The other Spanish companies that competed in this category along with Novasoft, and that reached the final, were Siemens, S.A., TNT y Valeo Iluminación, S.A.


The awards ceremony, held in the Municipal Conference Centre of Madrid, was presided over by the Princes of Asturias and the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Miguel Sebastián, who insisted on the high level and compromise with excellence that this year’s participants had shown. Novasoft won this award after having taken part in this competition for eight years in a row and reached the final in two of the editions. Along with the delegation of the company that travelled to Madrid in order to collect the award, the CEO of Novasoft, Francisco Barrionuevo, was accompanied by the Mayor of Málaga, Francisco de la Torre, director of the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía, Felipe Romera, and the director of BIC Euronova (incubator in which Novasoft was born 15 years ago), Álvaro Simón.


The Industrial Quality category is one of the most competitive of the competition, as it entails a detailed and thorough test of the company, from its account statement to its business strategy, its policies and its social responsibility. The locality cordobesa of Adamuz will be the first one that releases this free service for the citizens of experimental form, in the frame of the most wide initiative named Portal of Simulation of Companies

Adamuz's municipality will be placed to the Andalusian and national forefront in investigation(research), development and innovation (I+D+i) by the putting in march of a pioneering system that will allow to know all that citizen determined to mount a company if this one will be or not profitably before it(he,she) begins any administrative or commercial step. Novasoft has been adjudicataria of a contest across which it(he,she) will develop a project based on artificial intelligence capable of realizing diverse calculations on the basis of the situation of the market and the commercial decisions that the future businessman takes to guess if it(he,she) will succeed or not with the constitution of a new company.

This project places inside a more wide initiative, named Portal of Simulation of Companies, which will develop to the complete one in the locality cordobesa and which carries other actions(shares) of improvement in the infrastructures of technological networks(nets) of the municipality to improve this way the communication of the Council with his(her,your) citizens. The initiative carries an investment of more than 190.000 Euros and is subsidized in 85 % by the Council of Innovation, Science and Company of the Meeting of Andalusia.
